Here’s everything you need to know about Zenyum clear aligners.
‘Senyum’ means smile in Bahasa. It was spelled with a ‘Z’ to make it universal just like the smiles they create. And also because they’re fun like that!
Founded in Singapore, Zenyum is a startup that’s powered by a passion for your smiles. Run by
techpreneurs and advised by licensed dentists, they provide dentist-approved dental cosmetic and oral care solutions which are accessible, affordable and fuss-free.
Today, Zenyum is available in 7 markets (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Vietnam); spreading the magic of smiles throughout Asia!
ZenyumClear™ Aligners – What is it?
ZenyumClear™ Aligners are a transparent, medical grade, BPA-free plastic alternative to traditional metal braces that adjust and align your teeth positions. They are removable (unlike metal braces) and work by exerting consistent pressure on your teeth, so they shift and straighten over time.
Benefits of ZenyumClear™ Aligners
The aligners are designed to fix up to 10 front teeth, with a straight trim line that increases retention, anchorage and comfort. They have enough precision to be a good, customised fit for the unique smiles of our patients.
Approved by Dentists:
Zenyum’s close relationship with her Dental Partners (including us!) has integrated teledentistry technology in their end-to-end customer service, to ensure your needs are tended to in a timely and efficient manner.
Your clinic visits are kept to a minimum as the ZenyumClear™ Aligners treatment is compatible with remote monitoring from wherever you are. Use your mobile phone to log your treatment journey throughout, saving you time from travelling and waiting in queues.
Zenyum’s Customer Success and Care Executives will guide you through the entire treatment duration. You can direct any questions or concerns to your dedicated executive at any point of your journey, so you’ll never have to figure it out on your own – we are just a call or text away!
Ideally to be worn for 22 hours a day, ZenyumClear™ Aligners produce noticeable results within 3 to 9 months of the treatment varying on the complexity of the case.
Satisfaction is also assured with the highly responsive customer care, trained dentists and hassle-free monitoring system.

FAQs About Zenyum
Here are some of the commonly asked questions that our dentists get from patients.
How do ZenyumClear™ Aligners work?
Their 3D-printed aligners are a safe and simple way to help you get a confident smile. Here’s how the process works:
- Take the free pre-assessment on Zenyum’s website or ask our dentists today.
- Once you have passed the pre-assessment, you will be booked for a dental consultation.
- A 3D treatment plan that is designed by our dentists will be sent for your approval.
- Approve your new smile and make payment (either upfront or with 3 months interest-free instalment) to kickstart the production of your aligners.
- Once the aligners are ready, you will be booked in for a fitting session before commencing on your treatment!
You’ll have to wear your aligners for 20–22 hours daily, only removing them while eating, drinking or cleaning them. Detailed care instructions will be sent to you along with your aligners package, so you know exactly what to do.
How long does the ZenyumClear™ Aligners treatment take?
Treatment time varies on a case-by-case basis, but smile transformations take an average of 3 – 9 months.
When will I start seeing results?
Most wearers start seeing a difference 2–3 months after beginning treatment.
Can ZenyumClear™ Aligners treat only my upper or lower teeth?
ZenyumClear™ Aligners are designed to treat both upper and lower teeth at the same time, because this gives better and more predictable results. If your teeth are crooked on one jaw only, the focus will be on that arch, with just small movements of the teeth of the opposing jaw.
I’m below 18. Can I get ZenyumClear™ Aligners?
Zenyum’s dental partners can make referrals for patients who are aged 12 and above, as long as there is parental consent and their cases have been approved for treatment.
What if I’m not happy with my smile after the treatment?
Additional sets are provided at no extra cost. However, note that this will require a rescan of your teeth which costs about $100 – paid directly to the clinic.
What’s the difference between ZenyumClear™ Aligners and other aligner brands?
ZenyumClear™ Aligners treatment combines both professional orthodontic expertise with remote-monitoring technology for an experience that’s both safe and hassle-free. Many other brands offer only a more traditional, lengthier treatment, or a less-safe DIY process.
They also focus only on making aesthetic corrections to your front set of teeth. By narrowing the scope of treatment, They’re able to offer you effective results at much more affordable prices.
I was told I need to extract my wisdom teeth. Do I have to remove them before starting my treatment?
Most patients don’t require their wisdom teeth to be extracted unless they’re causing a problem. To find out if you need to remove yours, take their free pre-assessment. Upon passing the pre-assessment, you will be invited for a dental consultation where our dentist will examine your teeth and advise you.

Intraoral scanning has given us the ability to make the process of modelling your teeth fast and easy. It also allows us to create a model of your expected progress when undertaking a teeth-straightening plan, such as Invisalign treatment.
At No Frills Dental we are using the iTero Elements 2 to take those intraoral scans. These scans are used to prepare clients for both Invisalign treatment, and also restorative treatments such as dental implants.
A diastema is the medical term for a gap between two teeth. The most common type of diastema is a gap between the two upper front teeth, known as a ‘midline diastema’, but they can occur anywhere in the mouth.
Some people have just one noticeable gap, while other people have multiple teeth which look gappy and spaced out.
A total smile makeover involves a combination of cosmetic dentistry treatments that can transform your professional and social life by making your dream smile a reality and boosting your self-confidence.
Putting an end to the embarrassment of unsightly teeth will also restore full oral health and function.
Our facial appearance can become spoiled as time takes its toll on our teeth, and a total smile makeover by your dentist in Singapore can provide a less costly, highly effective alternative to plastic surgery procedures such as facelifts.
