About Dr Marcel Fung
Dr Marcel Fung is a senior dental surgeon at NoFrills Dental. He graduated from Manchester University in the United Kingdom in 1999 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), and went on to obtain a Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies (DPDS) from Bristol University in 2008.
Dr Marcel completed the world-renowned implantology training program led by Dr Hilt Tatum in 2007, and has since participated in implant programs by Osstem Dental and at the Malo Clinic in Portugal (All-on-4 Surgical Protocol). He is an active provider of the All-on-4 Nobel Biocare Dental Implant system, which gives patients a brand new smile in a single day.
With over 16 years of clinical experience in the UK across the full breadth of dentistry, Dr Marcel uses a wide range of advanced technologies, Mercury Free Fillings, Invisalign, Inman Aligners, Cerec 3D same-day crowns, dental bonding and Six Month Smiles, all in line with his minimally invasive philosophy.
Beyond clinical work, Dr Marcel spent six years as a postgraduate dental trainer for the London Dental Deanery, mentoring newly qualified dentists and passing on his experience to the next generation.

Fees, subsidies and your first visit
Fees are quoted in writing before treatment begins. We accept CHAS, Merdeka and Pioneer cards, handle MediSave paperwork for claimable surgical procedures, work with the major insurers, and accept Baby Bonus for children. If you feel anxious about dental care, say so when you book and we will allow extra time.

What is All-on-4?
All-on-4 replaces a full arch of missing or failing teeth with just four strategically placed implants supporting a fixed bridge, often delivered the same day as surgery.
Can I really get new teeth in a single day?
Yes, with same-day immediate-loading implants, suitable patients can leave the clinic with a fixed bridge on the day of surgery. Dr Marcel will assess whether you're a candidate.
Are dental implants painful?
Implant placement is performed under local anaesthesia and most patients report it's more comfortable than expected. Mild soreness for a few days afterwards is normal and easily managed.
How long do implants last?
With good oral hygiene and regular check-ups, modern dental implants commonly last 20+ years and often a lifetime.
