The rules for using this website, in plain language. The short version: everything here is general information about dentistry, it is not advice about your teeth, and only an examination can tell you what you actually need.
These terms apply to your use of www.nofrillsdental.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Throughout, “we”, “us” and “our” mean NoFrills Dental and the clinics that trade under that name. “The site” means this website and everything on it.
The information here is general, not dental advice
Everything published on this site, including the treatment pages, the guidebooks, the oral health articles and the blog, is general information about dentistry. It is written to help you understand your options before you see a dentist. It is not a diagnosis, it is not a treatment plan, and it is not a substitute for being examined.
Reading this site does not create a dentist and patient relationship between you and us. That relationship begins when you attend a clinic and a dentist examines you.
Do not delay seeking care, and do not stop or change treatment you are already having, because of something you have read here. If you are in pain, have facial swelling, bleeding that will not stop, or an injury to your teeth or jaw, contact a clinic or, if it is urgent and outside our hours, go to an emergency department.
Booking an appointment
Sending an enquiry through the form on this site, or messaging us on WhatsApp, is a request for an appointment. It is not a confirmed booking. An appointment exists once we have replied and confirmed a date and time with you.
Please give us accurate contact details so we can reach you, and tell us in advance if you need to change or cancel, so the slot can go to someone else.
Fees, subsidies and estimates
Where this site shows fees, they are indicative and are there so you can plan. What you actually pay depends on what you need, which is settled after an examination and, where relevant, x rays.
Information about MediSave, CHAS, Merdeka Generation, Pioneer Generation, Baby Bonus and insurance reflects our understanding of those schemes at the time of writing. The schemes are set by others and their rules change. Eligibility and claim limits are confirmed by the relevant authority or insurer, not by us. We will tell you what we believe you can claim and we will help with the paperwork, but we cannot guarantee a third party’s decision.
Your privacy
How we handle personal data, including data you send through the enquiry form, is set out in our Privacy Policy. It forms part of these terms.
Using this site
You may read, print and share pages from this site for your own personal or clinical reference.
You may not copy or republish substantial parts of the site commercially, present our material as your own, use it to train or populate another service without our written permission, scrape the site in a way that degrades it for other people, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, or upload anything malicious.
The text, photographs, illustrations, layout, logo and name on this site belong to us or to our licensors, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law.
Links to other websites
We link to other organisations, including government scheme pages, professional bodies, mapping and messaging services. Those sites are not ours. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
Availability and accuracy
We work to keep this site accurate and available, and we update it as clinical guidance, our fees and the government schemes change. We cannot promise that every page is complete, current and free of error at every moment, or that the site will always be available and uninterrupted.
If you spot something that looks wrong or out of date, please tell us. We would rather fix it.
Our responsibility to you
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss you suffer because you relied on general information published on this site rather than on advice given to you by a dentist who has examined you, or because the site was unavailable or contained an error.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Singapore law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Nothing here affects your rights as a patient, or our professional obligations to you once you are in our care.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies, and the date it was last changed is shown at the foot of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
