About the Doctor
A Career Devoted to Patient Care
Dr Chan Joon Yee graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1988. After completing his National Service as a dental officer in the Republic of Singapore Navy, he went on to establish and run his own dental clinic in Hougang for 17 years.
Seeking new challenges and a deeper focus on advanced procedures, Dr Chan expanded his practice to Orchard Road, where he developed a particular interest in dental implants and aesthetic dentistry. His patient base grew steadily through word of mouth, built on his calm chairside manner and meticulous clinical work.
In 2012, Dr Chan obtained a Diploma in Acupuncture after several years of formal study in Traditional Chinese Medicine — an interest that continues to inform his holistic approach to patient care today.
Now semi-retired, Dr Chan practices part-time and devotes the rest of his time to content creation and adventure travel — sharing his perspectives on health, life and the outdoors with a growing audience.
